Plug-in and save the world
Richmond Council in association with Sweltrac have installed two “Elektrobay” electrical vehicle charging bays that officially open today in borough car parks – Cedar Road in Teddington and Old Deer Car Park in Richmond.
Joining the scheme (£100 per year) gives you an electric key fob to enable you to charge your car for up to two hours a time whilst parked in the special bays across London. Boroughs currently in the scheme are: Croydon, Hammersmith/Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington/Chelsea, Merton, Richmond, Kingston, Sutton and Wandsworth.
