Teddington Lights Up – 27th November

This years Christmas lights will light up on Thursday 27th November.

Heading up the ceremony with Richmond Mayor Helen Lee-Parsons will be Peter Davison, Doctor Who star and Andy Hodge, Olympic Gold Medallist rower.

The celebrations will centre around Elmfield House where the switch itself will be thrown.

Thanks go to the major supporters including NPL (National Physical Laboratory), Haymarket Publications, British Maritime Technology, The Diver Group, Richmond upon Thames Council and the Teddington Society.

The events start from 4pm and include:

4pm: Champagne being served at Caroline Turner Shoes – open till 9pm
4-6pm: Red Peppers free Mulled Wine with Xmas Menu & Cookie decorating for children
5-8pm: Enjoy Mulled Wine and Mince Pies at Bar Estilo
5:30pm: Choirs from Stanley Junior school and Waldegrave School will entertain the crowds outside Elmfield House
5:30pm: The Fun Factory will distribute Balloons outside Elmfield House and the British Legion will give away free soup
5:30-7pm: Xmas food tastings with drinks & nibbles at Marks & Spencer
5:30-7pm: See your way to Sims Opticians for Balloons and Sweets
6-7pm: Amaretti biscuits outside & live Piano music inside at Shambles
7pm: Visit Santa in his sleigh in King’s Head Car Park
6:45-7:45pm: Live music outside Tesco – inside Mulled Wine, Nibbles & Mince Pies
6:30-9pm: Carols, wine, mince pies & Christmas cheer at Dexters in the High Street
6:30pm: Combined School Jazz Band play live outside Boots
6-8pm: Decorating Christmas cookies for children at Kitchen Sync
