Local Save The Children branch celebrate 40 year milestone
The Hampton and Teddington branch of Save The Children is celebrating its 40 year anniversary.
The charity has hosted many memorable fund-raising events and had many supporters over the years – branch chairman June Brown is keen to highlight Stanley Road Junior School’s support which has lasted for 25 years.
The branch was created in 1969 to celebrate 50 years of the fund which aims to improve the lives of children around the world through education, healthcare and economic help as well as aid during natural disasters and conflicts.
They are marking the occasion with a fund-raising dinner and party on June 5th (tickets available).
