Little Traders is a new recycling facility; based in the Borough of Richmond, where parents can trade and buy all sorts of family items including baby goods, children’s clothes, shoes, toys etc.
It operates on an agency basis by selling goods on behalf of parents in the local community and retaining a commission from any proceeds. There are no charges made for submitting or displaying items at the centre.
This is a much needed service in an area which abounds with families and young children and is definitely welcome following the departure of ‘Mum & Me’ from the High Street. In the current economic climate the opportunity to save money and recycle goods will be warmly welcomed! Little Traders is open 9 to 5 Monday to Saturday in term time. They are also happy to open outside these hours on request in order to assist working parents – just give them a ring to arrange a convenient time (tel: 020 8943 9901).
They are located just off the High Street on Stanley Road, near the Methodist Church. Look for the yellow and blue airplane!
