If you use the footbridge over the river regularly, you might want to make a note in your diary that it will be closed for maintenance 10am-3pm daily from 7th until 11th September.
The closure is necessary to install an anti-skid surface to the bridge for winter whilst the weather still permits. As an official diversion, the nearest river crossing is Kingston Bridge.
