The world is finally your Oyster
Teddington station is to be finally fully integrated into the Oyster system from January. South West Trains have faced intense pressure to complete franchise negotiations with Transport for London and become the final London train company to fully accept all Oyster cards & payments.
The four card readers were being connected last week whilst Teddington Society’s Brian Holder attended an overview of station upgrades by South West Trains Phil Dominey.
The machines are due to be load tested in December, after which Freedom Passes, SWT Season, Pay as You Go and ordinary tickets will all be compatible with the new installation.
