Teddington Memorial Hospital’s benefit to the town will increase even further when a late-night GP practice opens in March 2010.
Currently some local GPs open slightly later on certain weekday nights to allow commuters to stop in on their way home but the GPs open hours at the Hospital will go even further and have surgeries open from 8am until 10pm weekdays and 9pm for weekends and bank holidays.
The practice will be run as a partnership between the League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital and Hounslow/Richmond Community Healthcare.
It is great to already see the benefit of the newly constructed health-centre alongside the valuable walk-in centre which currently treats 50,000 patients each year for minor injuries.
