New Years Eve parties 2009

Looking for a venue to usher in the New Year? Lots of local venues are providing everything you need to have an evening to remember.

At The Adelaide the doors close at 7:30pm for a party to remember including buffet and karaoke.

Bar Estilo’s set menu is £24.95 for their 80′s-themed New Year party. Sittings are 6-8:30pm then 9pm onwards for the New Year celebrations.

A fancy-dress party is being held at the Bloated Mallard with a ‘rags or riches’ theme.

You can dine at The Clock House with one of their three of four course set menus (£34.95 and £39.95 respectively) from 7pm onwards and party until 2am.

For something a little different perhaps you should consider the Diners Delight for an evening of belly-dancing. A three course menu with live Turkish music is £29.95 and kicks off at 7:45pm.

For fine dining why not try the l’Auberge at the Kings Head – foie gras, white fish snapper, tournedos of beef and duet of opera cake. Also a vegetarian menu with chutney soup, goats cheese millefueille and soft cheese ravioles – both are £65.

The Lion (near Hampton Wick) is hosting a party from 9pm-2am with DJ and Buffet (and champagne at midnight) for £7.50.

The Park Hotel is having a New Years Eve party for £20 – a selection of canapes and private party area with disco – all from 8pm until 1am. The restaurant is also hosting a New Year’s’ Eve four course buffet for £39.95

Red Peppers is having a New Years themed party – dress as your favourite colour.

A fancy dress party is on the cards at the Teddington Arms with a ‘dead celebrities’ theme. The best dressed will win a bottle of champagne. Tickets are £10 in advance or £15 on the door and will include buffet, karaoke from 7pm onwards.

The Wharf for £75 per person you can experience their New Year evening celebration four course meal including foie-gras, Quails eggs, line caught Seabass and sage and chestnut gnocchi. The evening lasts until 1:30am and don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes.

  1. I have spent New Years Eve at The Wharf before and it was a fab night! Well worth the money and I would do it again :o )
