The wire fence has probably got something to do with the Prison Break look they are going for. I noticed they have also been obsessing with cutting trees. There is a beautiful tree with white blosssoms on the corner of Udney Park and Cromwell Road. The Tree Company were here on April Fools Day to give it an army hair cut. The sad sounds of the wood chipper still haunts me. Last year in June the same company hacked all the trees in Udney Park Road - they (and I) still havent recovered. What's next? Are they going to chop down the daffodils and magnolias, and hire KGB agents to get rid of the robins?

The new wire fencing looks awful and completely out of keeping with all that Teddington stands for.

Why didn't Network Rail go the whole hog and use decent razor wire and hungry Rottweilers to freely patrol the station. I'm sure it would reassure all of us of their customer care policies.
