A new social group has been created in the area which provides a method of meeting and sharing experiences together with other 40-55 year-olds.
The group is for anyone who wishes to spend their social time relaxing and enjoying the company of other like-minded professionals (single, attached or married). Each meetup event is different – ranging from walks in the park or riverside, dining at restaurants and pubs, attending music events or visiting a theatre – the intention is to experience all that the area has to offer as a group. There is a minimum charge for membership, otherwise meetup members incur the personal cost for tickets, food, etc.
Past venues for meetups have included dinner at Simply Thai, Spring walks & Sunday lunches, Quiz and pizza night at the Landmark Arts Centre. Members suggest new ideas for meetups (not just restricted to the local area) for others to RSVP – a true democracy!
A £10 yearly membership fee goes towards organising the events or you can always plump for a £4 fee per event.
