Teddington RFC Juniors battle their way to semis

NewsTeddington Rugby Football Club Juniors have successfully battled their way through to the semi-finals of the National Cup and are now tantalisingly close to playing in the final at Twickenham on the 15th of May.

The semi-final will take place in Bushy Park on Saturday 1st of May at 3pm – a whole host of entertainment will surround the match to make sure fans have a day to remember (the festivities start at 1pm). Why not join the crowd to cheer on the local team and enjoy all that the park has to offer at the same time.

The team will be taking on Bristol Imperial RFC in the knock-out competition (open to all junior clubs in England). Teddington have in previous years been stuck in an unlucky streak of being knocked out in early rounds until last year where they reached the final 16. This led them to travel further than they had ever before for a competition match – all the way to Cornwall.

Reaching this stage of the competition is a great confidence boost for the club but getting to play at the home of rugby at Twickenham stadium would be a dream come true for the team.
