NewsAl Borgo restaurant had a surprise guest on Friday night! A table for 14 people was booked for 9:45pm and at 10:25pm, when owners were just about to close the kitchen, the party turned up and turned out to include a familiar face.

The party was lead by Peter Andre, along with his parents and brother, PA and support team – all of whom where in the area after for Peter’s interview with Piers Morgan as part of the new series of Life Stories (currently being filmed at Teddington Studios).

The party thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed late-night dinner at the restaurant, chatted to staff and were more than happy to have a quick pic taken.

We’ve been to Al Borgo several times now, and its a bit of a mystery why it isn’t always packed out. Very good Italian food, nice ambience.

I agree Adam, lots of restaurants have come and gone at this spot in Church Road – it just doesn’t get the passing footfall that the high street does!

Word of mouth is their main weapon in the fight against this because the food is second-to-none.

  • As well as the food being second-to-none, the welcome you get from the owner/managers is so welcoming! Marco and Nikola can’t go to enough trouble to ensure you are ‘loving’ your dining visit. A definite ‘Teddington’ favourite for us, and a great place for that ‘something’ which is a bit different and special.
