Broad Street to get £180,000 revamp

NewsThe road surface in Broad Street has been been deteriorating noticeably recently and has been blighted by being dug up for repairs.

After discussions between Teddington councillor Elengorn and TFL, an amount of £180,000 has been agreed to spend in revamping Broad Street area in general.

TFL will be investing this amount to improve the pavements, signs and install new seats along this stretch of the high street with this work starting soon. TFL are also aiming to re-surface the road next year.

Coun Elengorn: “Teddington was the only one of the bigger town centres in the borough not being improved. While the High Street and Broad Street taken together are prospering, the latter is looking tired and in need of a spruce.
