Fiver Fest Returns

Totally Locally Teddington enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at Teddington Village Fair talking to locals about their favourite independent businesses.

Loads of nominations for ‘Hidden Gems’ were submitted, added online and crunched to work out the most frequently used words when talking about the businesses we love – results can be found here

One event to help support our high street and get customers in doors that they might usually pass-by is Fiver Fest. The second Fiver Fest started today and will last for two weeks until July the 4th where lots of shops will be taking part in late-night shopping evening in honour of Independent’s Day.

In February this discounted celebration was hugely popular and there are even more offers this time round – see the Totally Locally site for full and up-to-date printable list and map.

Keep an eye-out for the Fiver Fest posters and maps around town – some of which are available to pick-up from Heirloom and Astrora Coffee. So print or grab a map and get bargain hunting!

There is a huge variety of offers this time from hot chilli ‘TNT’ sausages, sewing machine lessons, eyebrow shapes, BBQ charcoal, pet pedicure, cheddar-stuffed Aberdeen Angus beefburger, a healthy curry cook book, vintage jewellery, yoga and fitness sessions and a ride on a mechanical horse!
