Totally Locally Teddington 2014 World Cup
On Sunday 1st of June, Totally Locally Teddington will be hosting our own local version of the football World Cup! The tournament will see 16 5-a-side teams, each from local businesses battle it out at Teddington Cricket Club in Bushy Park to be crowned champions.
Teams playing in the tournament (group matches kick-off at 1pm) will be: La Bottega, The Dress, Elements, The Lensbury, LS Hair, Milestone, Moiduls, Red Peppers / Bar Estilo, Retro Bistrot, Royal Oak, Shambles, Simply Sound & Vision, Spikes Magazine, Teddington Arms, TAFC U12 Girls Team (Dads & Coaches), Teddington Cricket Club.
As well as cheering on teams, fun activities for the crowd will include bar, BBQ, photobooth, pony rides, face-painting, wine-tasting and also a raffle draw with amazing prizes from local businesses. Funds from the day will go towards The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital.
The prizes, all donated by local businesses and full info are all listed here. Raffle tickets while stocks last are currently available from Heirloom, Shambles, Casa Del Habano, La Bottega, Teds, Simply Skin and Stevens Tyres.
[Update 28/05/2014] There will also be a Panini World Cup sticker swap station! Report to the Totally Locally Teddington table on the hour, ever hour (1pm first one) to swap stickers with other collectors.
[Update 02/06/2014] Spikes Magazine were crowned the winners of the first Totally Locally Teddington World Cup after a tense final!
