Local charity to cycle 12 hours to raise money for Breast Cancer Research

Relay for Richmond will hold a charity Spinathon next month where 12 bikes will run for 12 hours in a bid to raise money for breast cancer research.

The charity are after an army of volunteers to donate an initial five pounds in order to cycle for as long as they like.

The event will take place on January 7th at Teddington Pools and Fitness club from 8am to 8pm with the day full of activities in order to raise awareness.

You can book your place on the spinathon now and start raising money so you can burn off all of the Christmas food you eat this month and for a great cause.

The January spinathon is all part of a series of fundraising events taking place this year and next to raise money for Cancer Research’s first ever Relay For Life challenge in South West London.

Organised and delivered by volunteers, both Relay For Life and all its supporting fundraising activities, are designed to raise awareness of Cancer Research UK, reflect the fact that cancer is a 24/7 challenge for those it impacts, and to celebrate survivorship.
