Changes to waste collection days over the Christmas period
The local council are reminding residents that their collection times will change over the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Following the Bank Holiday on Monday 26 December, Richmond Council will carry out waste and recycling collections (including Garden Waste Collections) for domestic properties one day later than usual.
This means that Monday collections will take place on Tuesday and the Tuesday on Wednesday. Normal service will resume a week later on Monday 9 January.
For Garden Waste, Box Delivery, and Bulky Waste Collections there will be no service over Christmas or the New Year from Monday 26 December to Tuesday 3 January 2017.
Real Christmas Trees will be collected on your recycling collection day between 9 – 20 January 2017, alternatively you can take them to the re-use and recycling centre on Townmead Road,
