The local business group SporTedd, which was set up to support community sports projects, has launched a new scheme to offer small grants to individuals, clubs or teams.
SporTedd was set by a group of local business people in Teddington, Twickenham and Hampton with a professional connection or interest in sport.
Applications are welcome from any group, whether it is individual subscription fees, club kit for an individual or team, specialist equipment or competition fees.
Each application will judged on its merit by a special panel of members of SporTedd
Chairman, Julian Pike said: “We are delighted that we are now in a position to invite applications for modest financial support for local worthwhile sport-related causes. We welcome any application and each will be carefully considered.”
The deadline for the first round of applications is July 31st this year and decisions will be made by 13th September 2017.
SporTedd’s main objective is to raise funds and support local sport-related good causes, which can make a difference in our community.
