Caroline Doughty Smith, Founder and Director of Do Events gained her events experience whilst working for a number of high profile UK arts and media organisations, including the Edinburgh International Television Festival and the Royal Society of Arts. Caroline is also an experienced sales and marketing professional. Following a career break of 3 years bringing up her son, Caroline decided to launch Do Events Limited in 2011.
Caroline’s parents always used to say “We are off to a ‘Do’!” when they were going out to a party, so it just seemed right to name the company Do Events. Do is also a really proactive word and it fitted nicely with the look and feel Caroline had in mind for the company.
