Haymarket Media Group is the largest privately-owned media company in the UK. It publishes consumer magazines such as What Car?, Stuff, Gramophone, Autosport, F1 Racing and business to business titles such as Management Today and PR Week, as well as producing magazine and stand-alone websites, conferences, events, and exhibitions such as the BBC Good Food Shows and Clothes Show Live.
Haymarket Media Group was founded in 1957 by Michael Heseltine (now Lord Heseltine), who returned to the company in 1997 after a career in politics.
The company was orginally called Cornmarket Press and changed its name to Haymarket in 1964. Its first magazine was the critically acclaimed Man About Town.
The Teddington office is home to approximately 800 employees. Haymarket has offices in five other countries: Germany, India, Australia, China (Hong Kong) and the United States. Many of their titles are licenced around the world – having more than 127 licenses in 29 languages worldwide.
