FIRST STUNNING PHOTOS OF NEW-BORN DEER IN BUSHY PARK

Bushy Park photographer Sue Lindenberg captured these tender moments of a Red Deer Hind with her new-born calf at dawn, around 5am yesterday.

They are amongst the first images from the birthing season when the deer give birth deep in the bracken in the Park, which has large herds of Fallow Deer and Red Deer

Sue told Teddington Town: “I was so happy and felt privileged to see a Red Deer Hind with her calf – my first proper sighting of a calf this year.”

The birthing season runs from May 1 until July 31 when all dogs must be kept on leads to protect the deer as well as themselves.
