Teddington Cricket Club member Peter Harmer was almost stumped for words when he learned he had scooped a £250 cash prize on the Teddington Lottery in last Saturday’s big draw.
He told Teddington Town: “I feel I’m very lucky to have had this win the first since I started in November 2020.
“I have been a member of Teddington Cricket club since I started playing cricket there in 1963 and as a life vice president have supported the club any way that I could.
“Teddington Cricket Club has been a major part of the local area for well over 100 years and continues to support cricket for youngsters adults and also ladies cricket in the area and I am happy to continue to support them through the Teddington Lottery.”
