EXCLUSIVE: MAN CHARGED OVER DOG ATTACK WHICH KILLED DEER
A man has been charged today following the dog attack which led to the death of a deer in Richmond Park before Christmas, It was confirmed today.
The man, who lives locally to the park, has been charged with Cause/permit an animal in charge of to chase/worry/injure another animal in a Royal Park contrary to Section 4(21) of The Royal Parks & Other Open Spaces 199 https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1997/1639/contents
He is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on February 20 at 10:00.
The incident happened on December 2 and was captured on film by visitors to the park.
