RED DEER TAKES A COOLING DIP TO BEAT THE HEAT IN BUSHY PARK
A female red deer immerses herself in the Bushy Park stream to cool off in the scorching 25 degrees heat today (Thursday)
The deer broke away from the herd and took her own steps to defy the heatwave with all of her four legs underwater as temperature records were smashed with 28 degrees in London.
Police warned of the dangers of swimming in the River Thames around Teddington Lock and the footbridge because of hidden debris as the warm weather is expected to continue.
