ANNABEL CROFT HOLDS COURT AT RUGBY FUNDRAISER
Former tennis star turned TV personality Annabel Croft was the special guest for Esher Rugby club’s fundraiser at the Mitre at Hampton Court.
Host John Inverdale tested the audience’s tennis knowledge which brain-fuddling questions which included the temperature Wimbledon tennis balls should be kept at.
Annabel, who also starred in Strictly Come Dancing, will be covering Wimbledon as usual this summer and tipped Jannik Sinner and Carlo Alcaraz as the Mens’ finalists.
About fifty guests attended and raised money by playing a round of Heads and Tails as well an auction which included tickets for the Autumn International between England v New Zealand at the Allianz, horse racing tickets and book about the history of Wimbledon signed by tennis legends John McEnroe and Roger Federer.
