TED LASSO RESTAURANT IN RICHMOND ON THE MARKET FOR £180.000

One of Ted Lasso’s favourite restaurants, next door to his fictional front door home in Richmond, is on the market for £180.000, Teddington Town has confirmed today.
The cosy family Italian eaterie, called L’assaggino, is located in the narrow cobbled street called Paved Court, the scene of many scenes in the three series of Ted Lasso and right next door to Ted’s fictional home at number 11a.
Ted’s sidekick in the award-winning series Coach Beard played by Brendan Hunt has said of the restaurant: “You don’t really see it in the show but there’s an Italian restaurant called L’assaggino and it’s my favourite restaurant in Richmond. It’s a really authentic place.”
The restaurant even piggybacked the global success of the Apple TV+ series by offering the show’s famous ‘Ted Biscuits’ in a bright pink box which Ted presented to the owner of Richmond AFC Rebecca Welton played by British actress Hannah Waddingham every day when he visited her office.
The restaurant which is a two minute walk from Richmond Green and the Prince’s Head pub – also made famous by the show – and just a ten minute from the River Thames and Richmond railway station.
According to the estate agent, the sale has been prompted by the ‘relocation plans’ of the current owners. The restaurant had a turnover of about £230,000 last year and a gross profit in excess of £62,000.
