PHOTO NEWS SPECIAL

Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of a well-known and much-loved traveller called Danny Nolan at Teddington Cemetery in Shacklegate Lane today.
Traffic jams built up as the cemetery filled with those wishing to pay their respects and giant pink hearts, a gazebo erected by the funeral directors and a massive TV screen could be seen clearly from the road.
Attendees said Danny, aged 58, was a grandfather of twenty four children and had passed away recently in Holland.
Music could be heard and the giant screen showed family images to those paying their respects.
The local police Safer Neighbour Team issued a warning letter about likely ‘congestion.’
It said: “Dear Residents. SNT have been notified that today, Thursday, 05th June 2025, between 1300 hours to 1500 hours, there is likely to be congestion on the roads leading to the Teddington Cemetery i.e. Shacklegate Lane, Stanley Road, Waldegrave Road, Broad Street and Hampton Road.”
The coffin was carried by a horse-drawn carriage in the traditional manner of a traveller’s funeral.
