WORK RESUMES ON THE RESTORATION OF THE DIANA FOUNTAIN IN BUSHY PARK

The first signs of the delayed work resuming on the Diana Fountain in Bushy Park could be seen today.
The plinth and the statues were ‘unwrapped’ for the first time in weeks and workers could be seen on the scaffolding surround the statue. Work began in October.
Phil Edwards, Bushy Park Manager told Teddington Town: “We are anticipating that we will complete works to the Diana Fountain this summer.
“Unfortunately, we experienced difficulties with finding a suitable cleaning and wax restoration method for the bronzes, but this has now been resolved.”
