These wonderful images were captured near The Heron Pond in Bushy Park. I had promised myself one morning that I would get up at dawn to catch the mysteries of wildlife waking up in the Park as the amazing photographer Sue Lindenberg does every day!. I was curious as to whether it could be really as beautiful and serene as her photos portray. I was not disappointed, as the mist gently balanced over the pond at about 5.30am. The deer were tucking into their breakfast while the Canadian geese took an early morning dip before marching off together in fine order with the goslings falling into line dutifully behind their swaggering parents. Deer popped their heads up from bracken like a jack in the box to voice their objection to this early morning intruder…..…….(Photos by Stuart Higgins)
