TEDDINGTON CHURCH LAUNCHES AUCTION TO RAISE FUNDS
St Mary with St Alban Church in Teddington has launched an online ‘auction of promises’ to help raise money to pay for improvements to the church.
Auction items include a private tour of St Paul’s Cathedral, tennis lessons, rental of a luxury villa in the south of France and a pair of tickets with hospitality for a Chelsea football match.
There’s also a chance to win a personalised bell-rining session, a children’s party, cookery lessons and golf sessions.
The church says: “In aid of raising urgent funds for vital community facilities for Teddington’s 800 year old St Mary with St Alban church, we are offering an exciting range of experiences and services.
”Please bid and share with your friends so we can make St Mary with St Alban accessible to all in our community!”
The auction aims to raise at least £5000 and has already reached half its target with another twenty three days to go.
