MAN JAILED FOR BREACH OF COURT ORDERS AND SHOPLIFTING IN TEDDINGTON
Adam Edah-Tally has been jailed for eighteen weeks for breaching court orders and stealing three bottles of spirits from Tesco in Teddington’s Broad Street. local police have revealed.
He was spotted by a police community support officer (PCSO) in Teddington walking towards High street from Broad Street. According to police the man was known to the officer.
The police said: “He has a criminal behaviour order not to enter the Borough of Richmond due to his prolific offending.
“Our PCSO directed uniform officers in to stop him. He was stopped and found to be in possession of three bottles of spirits which he had recently stolen from Tesco still with their security tags on them.
“He admitted to stealing the items. He was remanded in custody to go to court the next day. Once at court he was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison.
“A great result for Teddington Safe Neighbourhood Team.”
