TED’S MARKET AT KING’S HEAD PUB MAKES CHANGES

Teddington’s popular and well-established Saturday morning market at the King’s Head pub is to return to its original ONCE a month slot, it was learned today.
Ted’s Market which launched in September last year will take place on the last Saturday of every month. The next market will be this Saturday 26 July.
Market operator Jack Pass said: “ We have changed back to the last Saturday of every month.”
The market will have a break in August as it’s the Bank Holiday weekend and lots of traders will be away.
It will return on 27th September, then 25th October and so on.
Jack added: “Going back to monthly helps give the market a bit more of a buzz and ensures that I can manage the traders, as some couldn’t commit to twice per month, and it got quite stretched.
“I’ve got a Teddington based gourmet mushroom grower joining in Sept! Lions Mane and other varieties, grown from spore to oak right here. Really cool.
“And a new veg stand starting September too.
“AJ Pies returns – amazing homemade pies. The chicken curry one is amazing. “
The new set up may also allow the market to showcase local charities.
Opening times will also change to a 930am start and 1.39 close instead of 10am until 2pm following feedback from regular customers.
