TOP SPANISH CLUB IS LATEST TO TRAIN AT TEDDINGTON’S LENSBURY

The top Spanish football club Deportivo de La Caruna is the latest to make use of the elite training and sports facilities at Teddington’s riverside Lensbury Club, it was revealed today
Their short stay comes after a visit by the two EFL Championship teams, Portsmouth and Southampton and the Belgian team Club Brugge.
Deportivo, who play in Spain’s second tier, travelled to Watford’s Vicarage Road and lost 1-0 in their last friendly before their Championship season starts properly against Charlton on August 9.
Deportivo go north to play Middlesbrough in another friendly on Saturday (August 2)
The Lensbury and its stunning location and state of the art facilities have proved to be a massive part of their business with visits by The Lionesses, The Red Roses, Manchester United as well as all the top international rugby teams including The All Blacks, Australia, South Africa and England.
