RED ROSES TRAIN AT THE LENSBURY BEFORE WORLD CUP RUGBY FINAL
England’s Red Roses have been training at The Lensbury before their World Cup final showdown against Canada at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
The squad set up camp earlier this week after their nervy semi-final win over France at Ashton Gate in Bristol while Canada were the surprise victors against New Zealand’s Black Ferns.
It is understood the Red Roses coach John Mitchell has a fully fit squad for the big match which is a sell-out with 82000 tickets sold – the highest ever for a women’s match.
The Lensbury’s riverside position, its state of the art pitch and gym facilities and closeness to Twickenham has made it a preferred choice for top rugby clubs as well The Lionesses and other top league football teams.
The match will be screened live on TV.
