Exclusive: TRACEY ULLMAN JOINS CAST OF TED LASSO
The British actress and writer Tracey Ullman is the latest surprise recruit to the cast of Series Four of Ted Lasso, Teddington Town can exclusively reveal.
The 65 year old award-winning US-based actress who was a massive star on British TV with shows like Three of a Kind with Lenny Henry and David Copperfield revealed her role in a Woman’s Hour interview.
In America she fronted the popular Tracey Ullman show.
She was discussing her latest film ‘Steve’ in which she appears with Oscar winner Cillian Murphy and had its premiere in London this week.
Tracey revealed she was in the UK filming Ted Lasso and was ‘having a wonderful laugh and improvising’ she said.
Speculation has begun over her role and given the new storyline focuses on a women’s team for AFC Richmond – could she be the new coach for the team?
Filming of the much-anticipated Season Four began in London four weeks as revealed by Teddington Town based at West London film studios and on location in Richmond.
Last week Lasso fans were surprised and thrilled to see show favourite Phil Dunster, who played Jamie Tartt back filming in Richmond after media reports he would not be appearing in the new series.
