Crossroads Care – Land’s End to Teddington Relay Challenge
There are just 24hrs to go until nine incredible runners set off to tackle a 250+ mile relay from Land’s End to Teddington in just 48 hours!
The team’s goal? To raise vital funds to support Crossroads Care’s essential home and community respite, emotional wellbeing, and advocacy services for unpaid carers and those they care for.
Jess West, the charity’s holistic therapist, is among the team and has been training hard. ‘I’ve never run this much in my life,’ she says.
‘I’ve done all I can to prepare. I’m excited but also quite nervous as this will be the hardest physical challenge I’ve ever done.
‘But I really want to give back to all the carers that work so hard day in and day out.’
Every mile the team runs will be in honour of those who go the extra mile every day, caring for loved ones with little rest and even less recognition.
