TWO TENNIS STARS SUPPORT SPORTEDD

Former tennis champion, commentator, author and Strictly star Annabel Croft was the special guest at the latest SporTedd (SporTedd.co.uk) fundraiser at The Wharf restaurant in Teddington.
She talked about the gruelling tennis tour in her younger days and her newly discovered love of dancing through her ‘amazing’ Strictly experience last year.
She was then joined by surprise guest Jamie Murray who talked about his amazing achievements as a doubles champion as well as the challenges he faces about his next career move.
They were happy to answer questions from some of the guests and both shared their hopes for former US Open champion Emma Radacanu and Britain’s Number One Jack Draper.
The latest SporTedd event was a special celebration to mark the raising of £125.000 which has been donated to charities, sporting clubs and schools across the Borough since its launch 7 years ago.
There were also raffle prizes of football match tickets for Chelsea and Arsenal as well giant tennis balls signed by Annabel, big boxes of Walkers crisps, a Roy Orbison tribute night and restaurant vouchers.
