Several members of the World Cup winning Red Roses got the needle after their victory ….. with tattoos at Teddington Ink in Waldegrave Road.
They had World Cup images tattooed on their arms and legs as they waited their turn, still proudly wearing their gold medals around their necks.
Teddington Ink said: “We had the honour of welcoming the England Rugby Red Roses into our Teddington studio earlier this week — fresh off their World Cup win!
“The team knew exactly what they wanted to mark the moment and our artists were proud to bring their ideas to life. It’s been amazing seeing the support from both the rugby and the local community.”
As well as paying a visit to Teddington Ink, the women who were staying and celebrating at The Lensbury, visited The Beach art gallery next door which is hosting a special exhibition called ‘Female Resilience’ – partly inspired by the Red Roses.
