TWO US VOLUNTEERS JOIN LATEST TEDDINGTON HUMANITARIAN MISSION TO UKRAINE
Two volunteer drivers from America came all the way to the UK to join the latest Teddington-based Mighty Convoy mission to provide aid to Ukraine.
The team led by Gavin Emsden from Hampton, included drivers and supporters from Essex, Cheshire, Warwickshire and Doug Arnold from Denver, Colorado and Terry O’Brien from Austin, Texas.
The convoy is the 18th to make the long journey by road to Lviv and so far 78 vehicles have been sent to Ukraine to be deployed as seen fit and to support the frontline or civilian needs.
Three pick up trucks and refrigerated van should arrive in Lviv later today (Saturday)
