REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICES ACROSS RICHMOND BOROUGH

 

This year’s Remembrance Day services are being held throughout the borough on Sunday 9 November 2025.

There will be a service near to you where you can go to pay your respects to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Most events will consist of a parade of armed forces veterans, civic dignitaries and religious officials, a service and two-minute silence at 11am.

Remembrance events

The remembrance events across the borough this year are as follows:

Richmond

Parade starts in Old Deer Park and will process to Whittaker Avenue, where a service will be held at the War Memorial

  • Time: Parade begins at 10.15am, service at 10.40am, wreath laying at 11am

Twickenham

Parade will start at The Embankment and will process to the War Memorial in Radnor Gardens, Cross Deep, Twickenham, TW1 4RB

  • Time: Service begins at 11am

Hampton

Hampton Methodist Church in Percy Road, Hampton, TW12 2JT

  • Time: Parade begins at 12 noon
  • Attended by: Councillor Gareth Roberts

East Sheen

Parade begins at Sheen Lane Centre Car Park, East Sheen, SW14 8LP. The service will be held at the East Sheen war Memorial from 11am.

St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Barnes, SW13 9HL

  • Time: Service starts at 10.55am

Ham

St Andrew’s Church, Church Road, Ham Common, Richmond, TW10 5HG

  • Time: Parish Communion at 10am, procession at approximately 10:45am

St Peter’s Church, Church Lane, off Petersham Road, Richmond, London, TW10 7AB. A wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Petersham War Memorial at 11am.

Teddington

Parade starts and proceeds from outside The Royal British Legion in the High Street and Broad Street, 10.30am arrive at the Memorial outside Teddington Memorial Hospital  in Hampton Rd.  The service, conducted by the Tev David Cloake will start at 10.50am.
