TEDDINGTON STATION LIFTS BACK IN ACTION

The two passenger lifts at Teddington railway station, which have been out of service since September 11, are finally back working properly, it was announced today.
The lifts on the Platform Two Station Road side and the ticket office Platform One side in Victoria Road have been out of action after someone became trapped in one of the lifts.
A Network Rail spokesperson told Teddington Town: “We are pleased to say that the lifts at Teddington station have now reopened after being closed for repairs.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this closure caused the local community and we thank them for their patience.”
Local MP Munira Wilson took the matter up with those responsible and normal service resumed today. (Wed)
