The NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP launches in July 2026 bringing a massive boost to Allianz Stadium as it campaigns to attract significant new revenue and compete with other top venues.
Two groups of teams competing in a Northern versus Southern Hemisphere tournament format across six rounds, with three fixtures in July and again in November, before culminating in the first of its kind Finals Weekend at the Allianz Stadium to decide the dominant nation and balance of power between the rugby hemispheres, every two years.

The Six Nations Unions and Federations: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales, will represent the Northern Hemisphere.
They will face a Southern Hemisphere group made up of the SANZAAR nations: Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and joined by two invitational teams: Japan and Fiji.
