FESTIVE WELCOME FOR THE TEDDINGTON PANTRY’S OPENING DAY (10am Friday)

The shelves are well-stacked for tomorrow’s grand opening of The Pantry in Teddington’s High Street, with a festive welcome for its first local customers when the store opens at 10am tomorrow (friday)
Staff were putting finishing touches to the new convenience store later tonight (thursday) which replaces Budgens which occupied the site for over 20 years with the entrance surrounded by Xmas decorations.
Owner Sunny Saini, who also runs the Barnes Pantry, says Teddington Pantry will offer ’boutique products’ in food and grocery categories and he told the consumer magazine Better Retailing, the pantry would be offering goodie bags to the first 100 customers ‘containing products which we are highlighting.’
The new store, he says, will also offer a ‘food-to-go’ range with outside seating with a barista, in-house baker and kitchen and fresh salads, sandwiches, paninis, burgers and hotdogs.
He said: “As we prepare to open the doors to Teddington Pantry this Friday (10am) we want to thank our community in advance for your support and patience. Like any new business, we’ll be working hard behind the scenes as we settle in, fine tune our operations and make sure everything runs smoothly.
“Our team is committed to providing you with great service, fresh products and a welcoming shopping experience. Thank you for your understanding and for being part of our opening chapter. We can’t wait to serve you. Sunny & The Teddington Pantry Team.”
