MAN WHO DIED IN BUSHY PARK WAS IN HIS 50’S

The man who died in Bushy Park yesterday (mon) was in his 50’s and police have described his death as ‘unexpected but not suspicious.’
A short statement from the Metropolitan Police, issued to Teddington Town said: “At 10:35hrs on Monday, 8 December, police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an unresponsive man in his 50s in Bushy Park, Richmond.
“Officers attended and paramedics performed emergency first aid, but sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:32hrs.
“His next of kin have been informed. His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.”
Morning visitors to the park reported seeing a convoy of police cars with flashing blue lights and an ambulance inside the park.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance service said: “We were called at 10.09am today (8 December) to reports of an incident in Bushy Park, Hampton.
“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.
“Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
