TED LASSO SERIES FOUR FILMING CLIP ‘LEAKED’

An extra ‘starring’ in Series Four of Apple TV’s Ted Lasso is thought to have sneaked a rare clip of filming, it emerged today.
The unauthorised clip, which appeared on X, seems to show the first photographic confirmation of the role of Leslie Higgins played by award-nominated British actor Jeremy Swift, who has appeared in the previous three series.
The clip – believed to have been filmed at Wembley – features Hannah Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton on a stage with her loyal sidekick Higgins at a Richmond Bi-Annual Shareholders’ Meeting surrounded by studio lighting and cameras.
The backdrop clearly shows AFC Richmond club sponsors in a bright blue drape including Nando’s, the Nike logo, Bantr and lawyers, Pinter & Sons.
Filming of Series Four resumed at the west London studios base this week and is expected to involve more location filming in Richmond and the surrounding area in the next fortnight.
Those close to the show say production has suffered from various delays and Series Four is now expected to air around the time of the FIFA World Cup based in the US in June this year to maximise global publicity.
The new series, which may NOT be the last, according to insiders, focuses on a women’s team, involves the same writing team of show creator Jason Sudeikis, who plays Ted Lasso and Brendan Hunt, who plays his sidekick Coach Beard as well as other Brit actors Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple and a cameo role for Phil Dunster, who played Jamie Tartt and comedian Tracey Ullman.
