TEDDINGTON CHURCH HOSTS CANDLELIT FLEETWOOD MAC TRIBUTE NIGHT

A Fleetwood Mac  tribute night featuring the band’s greatest hits and performed by an instrumental trio is to take place at St Mary with St Alban Church in Teddington on Saturday February 7, it has been announced.

The unusual event which will take place by candlelight, will involve TWO performances at 5pm and 7pm with front row ‘platinum’ tickets available for £45 plus a £4.50 booking fee.

The event is organised by a company called Lumos Experience which states on its website:

“Lumos brings you enchanting concert experiences paying homage to world famous artists. We’ve partnered with spectacular locations & churches across the UK to deliver a concert experience that is nothing short of magical.”

According to the company a donation to a different charity is made every month although it’s not known whether the concert will help raise funds for the church’s £1million Building Anew project.

A spokesperson said: “We make a donation to a different charity each month, but we don’t announce which specific charity will benefit until closer to the event date.

“Our charity selection changes monthly and has previously supported organizations like the World Food Programme, Dogs Trust, and Worldwide Cancer Research.

“The specific charity for February’s Teddington event will be announced as we get closer to the date.”
