MAN DIES IN KINGSTON HIT AND RUN INCIDENT

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a fail-to-stop collision in Kingston.
The collision, between a car and a moped, happened on Saturday, 7 February at 23:37hrs on Wood Street at the junction with Horse Fair in Kingston.
Sadly, the driver of the moped, a man aged 22, died at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting the victim’s family.
The driver of the other vehicle, described as dark-coloured, failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information, including dash cam footage, to call police on 101 quoting CAD 8352/07FEB26.
