MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING FATAL COLLISION WITH MOPED RIDER IN KINGSTON
Met Police said today they had arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the fatal crash involving a moped rider in Kingston on Saturday evening.
He remains in custody.
The collision, between a car and a moped, happened on Saturday, 7 February at 23:37hrs on Wood Street at the junction with Horse Fair in Kingston.
Police said the driver of the moped, a man aged 22, died at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting the victim’s family.
