The London Marathon MyWay is held on the same day as the main London Marathon but you are free to do it at your own pace and on the route of your choice.
Join a jolly team of clients, staff, trustees and supporters and walk along the beautiful Thames Path from the London Eye to Bushy Park in Teddington.
Or you can choose your own route and walk or run. It just has to be done anytime on the 26th and you need to use the London Marathon app to track your 26.2 miles.
Hallie Banish, campaigns and communications manager for RUILS said: “This is one of my favourite fundraising events of the year! I’m taking part and would love for you to join me. Have a great day out walking the Thames Path & raise much needed funds for a worthy cause…what’s not to like?”
Ruils is a user-led charity supporting Disabled children and adults and people with long term health and mental health conditions to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full providing information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to our clients and their families.
The charity delivers a range of holistic, outcome-focused services that remove the barriers to living an independent life across Richmond, Hounslow, Wandsworth and Kingston boroughs in SW London.
At the heart of Ruils is a belief that although we are all different, every human being has the right to live the life of their choice and to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their impairment, age or health status.
