Ruth Allen is a Professional Photographer based in Teddington who specialises in Weddings and Portraits. Ruth also works as a Celebrity and Fashion photographer in London, through which she has photographed celebrities such as Katie Price, and the casts of ‘The Only Way is Essex’ and ‘Coronation Street’. Being involved in the creative industry at the top end of the spectrum teaches her unique and exciting skills that she can bring to her Wedding and Portrait Photography.

After attaining a string of excellent, academic qualifications (topped by a 2/1 Honours Degree from Southampton University in English and Philosophy) Ruth decided to pursue her ambition of becoming a photographer. She completed an internship with celebrated, fashion photographer, Elisabeth Hoff, during which she assisted her on prestigious photoshoots for high-end fashion magazines. She then worked at Skin Studios in Kensington on shoots for a range of clients. Having been involved in the workings of the photographic industry at the top end of the spectrum and feeling truly inspired, she launched her own career.

As a wedding and portrait photographer, Ruth intertwines natural, documentary-style photography with some posed shots to give you a perfect combination of photography. Her unobtrusive, reportage approach allows her to capture real moments and relationships. Additionally, she brings her expertise as a celebrity, fashion photographer to produce some posed, staged images that have the feel and quality of a fashion magazine. All images will be fully retouched with the latest industry techniques; producing the highest quality of photos.
